That’s because they’re not only co-sponsoring, but also participating in this year’s Pig on the Pond carnival to help raise awareness and funds for education and other worthy causes at the popular Waterfront Park venue in Clermont.
Founded in 1998, this favorite annual event enables more than 20 local non-profit organizations to raise awareness and funds at the popular Waterfront Park venue. Each year, upward of 27,000 people turn out to enjoy carnival rides, load up on entries into the Chili Cook Off and Desert Bake-Off contests, and compete in races. A few of the Todd E. Copeland attorneys will brave the Rib Run 5K, while a few may opt for the arguably less grueling No Ducky Left Behind Rubber Ducky Race. And of course, there will be lots of live music. This year’s Hamboree Jamboree performers include Orlando’s own The Down Brothers, Florida’s HayFire Band, Beetles tribute group the Abbey Four and Nashville’s newest phenom Jordan Anderson.
Since undergoing a re-engineering in 2003, Pig on the Pond has raised over $700,000 for scholarships and education initiatives in the South Lake community. Todd E.
