Todd E. Copeland & Associates Goes Hog Wild for Helping Kids

Posted by copeland on February 28, 2014

When they're not diligently working a case for a client, the attorneys and supporting staff at Todd E. Copeland & Associates, one of Orlando's top personal injury law firms, are passionate about giving back to the Central Florida community. You might say they've gone a bit “hog wild,” in fact. That's because they're not only co-sponsoring, but also participating in this year's Pig on the Pond carnival to help raise awareness and funds for education and other worthy causes at the popular Waterfront Park venue in Clermont.

Founded in 1998, this favorite annual event enables more than 20 local non-profit organizations to raise awareness and funds at the popular Waterfront Park venue. Each year, upward of 27,000 people turn out to enjoy carnival rides, load up on entries into the Chili Cook Off and Desert Bake-Off contests, and compete in races. A few of the Todd E. Copeland attorneys will brave the Rib Run 5K, while a few may opt for the arguably less grueling No Ducky Left Behind Rubber Ducky Race. And of course, there will be lots of live music. This year's Hamboree Jamboree performers include Orlando's own The Down Brothers, Florida's HayFire Band, Beetles tribute group the Abbey Four and Nashville's newest phenom Jordan Anderson.

Since undergoing a re-engineering in 2003, Pig on the Pond has raised over $700,000 for scholarships and education initiatives in the South Lake community. Todd E. Copeland & Associates is proud to support the event as an Education Partner sponsor. Mark your calendars for March 7-9 and be sure to stop by our booth to meet one of our top-notch attorneys – especially if you have a fun-loving little one. We're holding a free raffle to win one of two brand new bicycles – one for a girl and one for a boy. See you there.
